FreeFood Society received an urgent appeal for food aid from Sri Cempaka flats in Lembah Pantai. These are RED AREAS. Many of the flats are under quarantine so it’s very difficult for the residents to go out and get food. The food packs were given to the frontliners who then sent them to all the covid houses. The day before distribution the frontliners were busy sanitising inside the whole PPR flats. Food packs were donated by Jaya Grocer. We had some balance stock of Toblerone chocolates and Soybean milk donated to us by Food Aid Foundation and F&N and we included them in the food packs with some spares. It is so nice to see the frontliners enjoying the chocolates. Happy that we could give them a treat for all their hard work. If you would like to help us, you can donate to:
