15th Dec – Free Food Society remains dedicated to providing essential support to 70 B40 families residing in PPR Desa Rejang. Through meticulous assessments of their financial situations, we have selected these families, many of whom have school-going children. As part of our commitment to their well-being, FFS not only supplies regular food packs but also organizes weekend tuition sessions, aimed at empowering these children academically. The success of these sessions is evident in the remarkable progress and increased confidence displayed by many of these students.
In our efforts to further enhance their dietary intake, we have expanded the food basket provided to these families. Now including chicken and vegetables twice a month, this addition offers a vital source of protein and essential fiber. This initiative ensures that these deserving families have access to a more balanced and nutritious diet, fostering better health and well-being within the community of PPR Desa Rejang.
