Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Berhad (CGC Malaysia), a financial institution, sponsored us to provide food aid for villagers in 3 areas in Kedah. We worked with our ground support team, Food Bank Malaysia to identify 50 families of villagers each in the districts of Padang Terap, Baling and Sik. Food aid was sent to a total of 15 villages.
It was a challenging phase as the delivery of food aid to these 15 poverty-stricken communities in the 3 areas was staggered over 3 days in August and early September due to logistics. Yet, we managed to get through it.
