On 7 Feb 2022, FFS contributed RM5K worth of food and essentials to House of Love (Pertubuhan Rumah Anak Yatim Berkat Kasih), an orphanage in Taman Klang Jaya.
Besides that, FFS received a zakat donation from Affin Hwang Investment Bank. In line with the requirement to utilise zakat for the benefit of specific groups, we approached an orphanage, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Islam Peribadi Mulia in Kg Sungai Kantan, Kajang. It currently houses 76 children – 15 boys and 61 girls together with 10 adults who take care of the children.
The orphanage reached out to us to help them with a list of essential items needed for the children. The list of over 50 items including food necessities such as rice, noodles, onions, fruit and vegetables, toiletry products for their personal use, as well as cleaning items such as floor and bathroom cleansers were donated to them.
Thank you to Affin Hwang Investment Bank for their generous donation and to Ra’yat Mart for the supply and delivery of the products to the Kajang orphanage. FFS hopes that this contribution helps the orphanage with their daily needs in caring for the children. It is indeed most satisfying to witness the joy in the eyes of the children when they received the contribution.
